One of the joys of being an artist, is photoshop isn’t’ required, if you don’t want cars lining the streets you just don’t paint them in. Most of my paintings have the wires removed, but for this one? The wires seemed to dress the scene.

Holloway Street in downtown St. John’s is often referred to as the ‘Jellybean Row’ of the city. Holloway is commonly known by the locals as heart attack hill, primarily because the hill is just so steep if you’re walking uphill.

This street seems to capture most of what St John’s is known for; Vibrant Jelly Bean Row houses, historic buildings, crazy hills, amazing scenery and an awesome harbour front. Throw in some awesome food and ‘down to earth’ people and you’re in Sin Jawns.
