Arse on Dat

There’s something about the arse end of this vessel, isn’t there? This simplistic image depicts a Spanish Galleon as she sits tied up at the dock.

Ships like this would have entered the harbour of St. Johns in the early days. Did deck hands scurry around singing ‘Heave Ho, haul away Joe’ as they carried on with their duties? Were they carrying royalty and treasures or would you encounter a dashingly handsome, but friendly pirate on the other side of that row of windows?

For me, it makes my romantic side curious about the rest of the story.
